It’s been ten years since i first started to organise my Personal Account. Initially i was using a simple set of template that i created with XLS, and over the years, it got improved or more complex.
I admitted that it can be tough and tedious to keep track of your expenses and recorded it in your XLS file, but the advantage of having a clear view of your Personal Account-Financial Status over written it. Totally worth your time and effort to get this part of your Wealth Improvement organised!
I always believed that having a set of personal accounting is the first steps in Wealth Improvement. It will let you know clearly of your monthly Income and Expenses! And you can start to trim off unnecessary Expense and thus increase your net monthly Income!
To help my dear reader to get started with it, i will shared out my XLS! 🙂 Please read the disclaimer before you are to proceed on and click here to download the file.
Over the years, i added the following features.
-Over my career, i accumulated some Sales experience on building Sales Pipeline, and i implemented that idea into it. With this feature, you will have a clear visual illustration in term of chart and actual figure of your monthly Income and Expense, plus your Net Income.
-The xls enable you to input Income and Expense and to group your Expense as according in a monthly view. Besides that, you able to divert your Income to your designated Account ( For example, $500 to OCBC Acc for GIRO payment, the rest to to Main Bank Acc for living expenses.) and your expenses too.
-Budget can also be set asides for each of your Expenses Type. For example; you set up a budget of $100 for your “Food” Expenses, and when you overspend, the figure in “LOSS” will appear in Red colour.
For more detail, please feel free to refer to the detail in the Tab “HowToUse” in the xls. And i will highly encourage each of your guy to modify the xls as according to your usage.
